Originally from Ukraine, Olena Denysova, FNP, is a registered nurse at Medex Diagnostic & Treatment Center in Forest Hills who specializes in helping patients in Queens and the greater New York City area suffering from allergies.
Ms. Denysova started her education at H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University in Kharkiv, Ukraine, where she studied biology and English. She was then a biology teacher in Kharkiv for four years before relocating to the United States to continue her education. Ms. Denysova received her Bachelor of Science in nursing at Long Island University’s Brooklyn campus in 2010 and most recently earned her family nurse practitioner degree at Molloy College in Long Island.
For Ms. Denysova, nursing is a lifelong learning experience, vocation, and profession. As a registered nurse educator, she has trained students in compliance, safety, OSHA, AMAP, diabetes management, and other topics. She has also assisted with curriculum development as an RN educator at AHRC New York City.
