No worry…No Fault

No-Fault Doctor Queens is an authorized provider of these needs.

You might even be 100% at-fault for the accident which caused your injury. It does not matter. As long as you are injured by a motor vehicle, excluding motorcycles, and you were not taking illegal drugs or drunk at the time, then you should receive the stipulated no-fault care benefits.

You could be a driver, a cyclist, a passenger, or a pedestrian. All qualify for care under the provisions of no-fault insurance that is required.

In New York State, a no-fault insurer is permitted to contract with a preferred provider organization, or PPO, for health services that are provided when an eligible injury occurs. The stipulation for this relationship is that people who are eligible under a no-fault policy are free to choose an unaffiliated PPO health provider when seeking medical care.

Department Regulation 83 governs how no-fault providers receive compensation for providing care to eligible individuals. It became effective under the Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance Reparations Act in 1974. It has been revised several times since, including a fee schedule that governs virtually every possible health expense that is governed under the no-fault statutes.

For medical treatment claims to be authorized, an insurer must work with clinics that are owned, operated, and controlled by licensed medical practitioners. At No-Fault Doctor Queens, we offer more than 20 specialty providers under one roof, allowing you to access the comprehensive care you require after an auto accident.

All medical clinics in New York State must be incorporated to be eligible for reimbursement under no-fault laws.

Help is Always Available

Auto accident injuries may be serious without you realizing it.

Traumatic injuries may create bothersome symptoms sometimes days, if not weeks, after the original injury occurs. Without immediate medical treatment after an injury, the condition may become work. Some injured parties may even suffer a permanent disability because of the injuries suffered from an auto accident if treatment for the injury is not sought.

The no-fault treatment stipulations in New York make it possible for everyone to receive the care they require after an accident. Every vehicle is required to be insured with no-fault policies with a minimum $50,000 benefit.

It does not matter who is at-fault in the accident. You could be 100% at-fault. As long as you were not driving drunk or under the influence of illegal drugs, then you likely qualify for benefits through this type of policy. There are certain conditions which must be met to qualify for no-fault coverage.

  • The auto accident must have happened in New York State.
  • The person was the driver or passenger of the insured vehicle, or a cyclist or pedestrian came into contact with the motor vehicle in a way that caused injury.
  • The vehicle in question must be covered under the law. Motorcycles are excluded.
  • The vehicle must be registered in New York State.

The insurance policy of the vehicles must have been sold in New York or licensed to an insurance provider who is authorized to conduct business within the state.
